This CD-ROM is compatible with both PCs (including Windows 95 and above) and Macs. It contains .pdf files (worksheets/books), .doc files (worksheets/books), .html files (web pages), .txt files (worksheets/books), .jpg files (pictures), .mp3 files (audio), and .mp4, .mov, and .wmv files (video). There is no installation required, although you may need to install the Adobe Acrobat Reader software (for viewing .pdf files), which is included on this disc (see below), as well as one or more of the free media players that are needed to view the video content (see below). To access the files, place the disc in your computer's CD drive and open the enclosed folder. Click the .html file named "index.html" to open the main index. File Types:.pdf files open with the free Adobe Acrobat Reader program, which is included on this disc.

.doc files open with Microsoft Word, which is a word processing application. .html files open with your computer’s default web browser, e.g. Internet Explorer or Firefox. In some cases you will need to use the back button on your browser to navigate from a file back to the previous page. .txt files open with Microsoft Notepad, which is included as standard with Windows OS. .jpg files are image files and open with your computer’s default image editor.
.mp3 files are audio files and open with your default audio player.
